PROGRAMS OFFERED

Attendees choose from the following events, held during three morning sessions 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, Thursday to Saturday (noon adjournment on the last day). This schedule allows ample time to participate in our optional pre-conference and post-conference offerings, as well as time for team-building and recreational activities. Attendees may also extend their stay by joining our popular post-conference CMO/ VPMA Retreat, Saturday PM to Sunday AM (See below for more details).

  • Pre-Conference – Wednesday
  • 3-Day Seminar Tracks – Thursday-Saturday AM:
    • Medical Executive Committee Institute: The Essential Training for All Physician Leaders | Thousands of physicians have completed this course, preparing them to assume a variety of leadership positions. Because new leadership challenges abound, many hospitals make it standard practice to enroll current and future leaders in this program annually; in fact, one attendee recommended: “Hospitals should make this education mandatory for any and all Medical Executive Committee members.”
    • The Greeley Physician Leadership Institute: The Tools Physicians Must Have to Deliver the Value Hospitals/Health Systems Need | Greeley’s expert MD/MBA’s teach you essential business and leadership skills, whether you are an experienced or new physician leader.
    • Peer Review Boot Camp: Performance Improvement-Driven Peer Review | Taught by experienced physician leaders, the Peer Review Boot Camp offers practical, in-depth training for physicians recently appointed to peer review positions, existing peer review leaders who seek new ideas on how to improve their case review and OPPE/FPPE methods, and staff who support peer review.
    • The Credentialing Solution: Learn How to Overcome Credentialing and Privileging Challenges | This program will provide skills and knowledge necessary to design a credentialing and privileging program that protects patients, is fair to physicians and clinicians, and complies with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
    • NEW Leading for Excellence in Quality, Safety, and Cost in Uncertain Times: Understanding and Navigating the Road to Risk-Based Environments | Lead with intention and develop skills for spearheading and implementing initiatives focused on care delivery excellence, cost, and continuous pursuit of improved outcomes in communities.
  • Post-Conference – Sat PM-Sun AM:
    • The CMO/VPMA Retreat: How To Succeed In the Toughest Job In Healthcare | If you are a CMO or VPMA or are considering this role, join us for the CMO/VPMA Retreat: designed to provide you with management skills and knowledge, realistic perspectives on the role of CMO/VPMA, and the peer-to-peer networking that are all necessary for you to excel in resolving the challenges that arise from having one foot in the hospital management world and one foot in the clinical world.
    • NEW Measuring and Using Data to Drive Excellence in Quality, Safety, and Cost: How to Thrive in a Value-Based World | This intensive 2-day program will take the mystery out of not only what to measure, but more importantly, how to continually ensure compliance and optimize performance. This program will teach you the basics of value-based performance metrics in both the acute and emerging ambulatory arena.
