Steven Canale, CPCS, CPMSM

Steven Canale is a Director of Medical Staff Services at Greeley. He brings more than 25 years of Medical Staff Services experience, with 15 of those years as a director. He is a strong leader in credentialing oversight, as well as development and maintenance of Medical Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations, and policies.

Prior to joining Chartis, Steven was the Medical Staff Services Director for Adventist Health St. Helena and Adventist Health Vallejo for eight years, and the Medical Staff Services Director for three of Avanti Health’s hospitals for five years.

Steven currently serves as the President of the California Association of Medical Staff Services (CAMSS). He previously served as a Director-at-Large on the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) board, as well as several ad-hoc and certification committees for NAMSS.

Steven holds NAMSS certifications as a Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and a Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM).
