Why healthcare?

After graduating from college, one of my first positions was in healthcare and I have spent my entire career in this industry. I love making a difference in the world and helping people. Throughout my career, I have worked with many talented and inspiring people—and I believe that there is no other industry that can offer you the opportunities for personal and professional growth.

When you’re not working, what would we find you doing?

My wife and I love to travel. Although I prefer the warm weather and the beach, my favorite vacation is spring skiing in Colorado. There is nothing like standing at the top of the mountain getting ready for that first run in the morning. I am passionate about fitness and spend a lot of time at the gym. I also enjoy concerts and spending time with my three grown children.

What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you?

I was born in Canada just outside of Toronto, Ontario. I moved to the United States when I entered high school. Most of my family members are still Canadians, but I became a US citizen about 25 years ago. Although I am proud of my Canadian heritage, I am equally proud to be an American and a citizen of the greatest country in the world.
