Erica Brudjar, RN, BSN, HACP-CMS, is a senior consultant with Chartis. She brings over two decades of distinguished experience in healthcare to her role consulting role with a deep commitment to enhancing patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance. 

As a registered nurse with a substantial background in certification and licensure compliance, emergency medicine, and perioperative nursing, Erica has honed her skills in ensuring safe patient care is delivered not only in hospitals (to include psychiatric, acute and critical access), ambulatory surgical centers, and dialysis centers, but in free standing emergency departments, birth centers, federally qualified health centers and rural health clinics. Erica's significant contributions at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, especially as the Acute Care Section Manager, include leading a proficient team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and spearheading quality improvement initiatives across diverse healthcare facilities. Her extensive experience in overseeing these diverse healthcare facilities at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has equipped her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and compliance requirements of each facility type, enabling her to drive improvements in patient safety and quality care across the healthcare spectrum.

Erica is a registered nurse with a background in acute care and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and holds a HACP-CMS certification. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from University of Phoenix, as well as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification.
