Tina Turner is a Senior Consultant with Greeley. As an executive in medical staff services, she brings to the firm over 28 years of experience, specifically in the areas of accreditation, regulatory compliance, systems integration, peer review, credentialing and privileging, medical staff and centralized credentialing operations, provider enrollment, and provider access and onboarding.
Tina has a record of excellence in project planning and executing improvement initiatives in multi-hospital systems. She advocates for optimizing medical staff performance, streamlining processes, driving organizational effectiveness, and researching emerging trends to secure growth strategies while upholding quality and safety standards. Tina has extensive experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Prior to joining Greeley, Tina worked as a Transformation Leader and System Director of Medical Staff Services for a large healthcare system in Kentucky. During her tenure, she led integration initiatives for software optimization, restructuring medical staff services, minimizing turnaround times, uniform set of bylaws, in-sourced central verification organization, and created infrastructure for credentialing and privileging, peer review, provider systems access, and organized medical staff ranging from 7 to 15 hospitals.
Tina is a member of the National Association for Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), a Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM), a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS), and Project Management Certification (CPM) from Xavier University.
Tina was the 2011 recipient of the Kentucky Association for Medical Staff Services (KAMSS) Outstanding Medical staff Services Professional of the Year Award. She was elected to the KAMSS Board of Directors and served as President for several years. In 2020, she was nominated for Corporate Leader of the Year.
Tina received her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration from Midway University with honors. She received her Associate of Arts degree from the University of Kentucky.
